"Grace" is an attempt to suggest the conundrum of what happens between the moment of life and death. The child-like sized skeleton, which is so commonly associated with death, becomes a romanticized idea of life. Bright with vibrant colors, the piece evokes a sense of "royal preparation" for what is to come. The piece also portrays elements of the Mexican holiday "Dia de los Meurtos."
